Here are the best ways to study for the OMIS 259 quizzes:

1) Come to class and take notes.

2) Read the ebook Chapter(s) covered for the quiz. The chapters covered will be listed by the quiz on the online schedule.

3) Make sure you complete and understand the MyITLab Simulations and Grader Project Homework videos.

4) Read the ebook chapter(s) and do the Simulation Training more than once to cement your understanding of the concepts.

5) Go to the Grades link on our class web site to see that NIUResponse questions you have had so far are posted, along with their answers, so you can see what you missed and what the correct answer was, and hopefully begin to understand why you missed that sort of question. You will notice that most quizzes have at least one question from NIUResponse (usually more than one).

6) Use the “Get Stuff Link” on our course website to your advantage. In particular, see this link at the bottom:

7) Google “Downing OMIS 259 Quiz #” to see some questions former students have posted. I cannot guarantee the quality of these questions, but my experience is they’re at least decent. Since this information is publicly available on the Web, I do NOT consider this cheating.
